Welcome to Flor. By downloading, installing, or using the Flor app ("the app," "we," "our"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Flor

Flor is a personal health journal for tracking gastrointestinal symptoms, meals, medications, water intake, and related health data. The app is designed to help you identify patterns and share information with your healthcare provider.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Flor. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these terms.

3. Your Account

• You may sign in using Sign in with Apple or use the app in local-only mode without an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the health data you enter into the app.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

• Flor offers a free tier with core features and a premium subscription with additional features.
• Premium subscriptions are available as monthly, yearly, or lifetime plans.
• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
• Refund requests should be directed to Apple, as all payments are processed through the App Store.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or servers.
• Use the app to store or transmit content that infringes on the rights of others.

6. Your Data

• You retain ownership of all health data you enter into Flor.
• We store your data to provide the app's features as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You can export your data as a PDF report or delete it at any time.
• We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, accidental deletion, or circumstances beyond our control. We recommend periodically exporting your data.

7. Health Disclaimer

• Flor is a tracking and journaling tool, not a medical application.
• Pattern insights, trigger analysis, and correlations are generated algorithmically and may not be accurate or applicable to your specific health situation.
• The Bristol Stool Scale and other clinical references are included for informational purposes only.
• PDF reports generated by Flor are summaries of self-reported data and should be reviewed with your healthcare provider.
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment based on information from Flor.

8. Intellectual Property

The Flor app, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flor and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to health decisions made based on information provided by the app.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
